Groceries, restaurants, and shopping can be found in Mountain Home, Gassville or Flippin. There is a Walmart Supercenter in Mountain Home. There are no stores in Buffalo City. It is 15 miles to town from Rileys Outfitter. It may be best to shop before arrival. Dry county (no alcohol sales) on Sundays.

Are there TV’s in the cabins?
There is no cable, satellite or local TV channels in the Loft, Bunk Lodge & Aframe. All other cabins have satellite and dvd players. TV/VCR/DVD is available for the Loft, Bunks & Aframe. The Riley’s have a variety of VCR & DVD movies for your use (free) at the office.

Is internet access available in the cabins?
The Rileys DO have internet at their home/office. Homes/cabins that DO have internet include: Cedar Gables, Ozark Chalet, Rock Point Cottage. All of the cabins can “bump off” of the neighboring cabins with internet. The internet lines are full/over sold in Buffalo City.

Is cell service, or phone access available on the property?
There is no cell service. Texting is slow but does work. There is a signal at the top of the mountain (1 mile drive). Houses/cabins that DO have land lines include: Cedar Gables, Ozark Chalet, Buffalo Vista & Rock Point Cottage.

What are some other nearby attractions?
Branson/Springfield areas (1-2 hrs), Bass Pro Shop, Wonders of Wildlife Springfield, Ozark Folk Center, Mountain View, AR, Blanchard Springs Caverns, Dawt Mill, Silver Dollar City, Big Creek Golf Course, Twin Lakes Golf Course, Area antiques & shopping, Norfork River and Norfork Dam, Norfork National Fish Hatchery, Bull Shoals Dam, and Bull Shoals or Norfork Lakes.

Do you have any gear rentals?
Yes! We have waders & boots for low water conditions and fishing rods for trips but you need to let us know before your arrival.

Can you fly into Mountain Home?
As of now, Baxter County Regional Airport has no commercial air services. For private charters, contact them at 870-481-5995.

You can fly into Springfield, MO airport (2 hrs away) or Little Rock, AR airport (3 hrs away). Both have rental car services, and we can provide shuttle services for any location for a fee.

When is the best time to come to Riley’s?
The North Central Arkansas area sports all 4 seasons.
– Trout fishing knows no season because of the water temperature staying the same year round.

– Hunting season starts in October and ends late February.

– Spring turkey normally falls in the month of April.

– Bass fishing runs hot normally from early March until Thanksgiving.

– For the rivers to yourself or going after “trophy trout”, winter may be just for you!

It is beautiful here year-round, come enjoy one or more of the four seasons with us!

How much are Arkansas fishing and hunting licenses?
Resident and non-resident fishing license (View AGFC Fishing License info).

What are the river levels?
